You might not know this about me, but I am on a journey to perfect my at-home coffee skills. I love an iced coffee, a cold brew with cold foam, a hot latte, and well, just black coffee. Lately, I’ve been hooked on this Banana Cream Cold Foam, and friends, it’s next-level cozy. Think banana bread meets cold brew… but better.
The real star? My homemade banana purée. It’s simple, lightly sweetened, and just the right balance of warm spice and banana flavor. No artificial anything here—just real ingredients blended with a lot of good flavor.

Homemade Banana Purée
This little gem is so easy to make and incredibly versatile. Here’s what goes into mine:
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- A splash of vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- A dash of cinnamon and nutmeg
- A little water to thin, I started with 3/4 cup
- A spoonful of cane sugar for that subtle sweetness, or maple syrup
Blend it all up until smooth, and you’ve got a golden spoonful of goodness ready for just about anything—pancakes, yogurt, toast… or in this case, coffee foam magic. I could literally eat it from the jar because it is so darn tasty.
Let’s Make Banana Cream Cold Foam
To make the cold foam, I mix:
- 2 tablespoons of my banana purée
- 2-3 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream
- A little frothy magic (thanks to my handheld milk frother)
Blend it until thick and pillowy, then pour it generously over iced cold brew or espresso. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a drizzle of caramel. It’s smooth, sweet, spiced, and so cozy—it tastes like a banana cream pie cloud on top of your coffee.
Why You’ll Love It
- Naturally sweet with just the right touch of banana
- Warm and comforting from the cinnamon and nutmeg
- Totally customizable depending on your milk or sweetness preference
- A fun way to use up ripe bananas (besides banana bread!)
So if you’ve got two spotty bananas sitting on your counter, this is your sign. Your morning brew just got a dreamy new upgrade.
Cheers to latte time!
